Return & Refund Policy
This policy explains the conditions under which returns, refunds, and exchanges are accepted at Malik Optics.
Malik Optics deals in optical products, many of which are customized according to customer prescriptions. Due to the nature of these products, strict return and refund rules apply.
By placing an order, you automatically agree to the policy below.
1. Eligibility for Return & Refund
Only frame-only orders (without lens customization) are eligible for return or refund.
The product must be unused, undamaged, and returned in original condition.
2. Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items
The following items are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable:
- Power / Prescription Lenses
- Zero Power / Plain Lenses
- Blue Cut Lenses
- Photochromic / Transition Lenses
- Photochromic + Blue Cut Lenses
- Drive Safe Lenses
- Customized Sunglasses Lenses
- Three-piece frames once lenses are cut
3. Customized Orders Policy
Any order that includes lens cutting or customization is final and cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances.
If a return is approved for a frame, the customer must keep the customized lenses. Only the empty frame with dummy lenses (if applicable) should be returned.
4. Dummy & Original Lenses Requirement
All dummy lenses and original sunglass lenses must be returned with the frame.
Missing lenses will result in rejection of the return or refund.
5. Return Time Limit
Return or refund requests must be initiated within 7 days of receiving the order.
Requests made after 7 days will not be accepted.
6. Refund Amount Calculation
Refunds apply to the frame price only.
- Rs.250 delivery charges are non-refundable
- Courier service charges are non-refundable
7. Return Shipping Charges
Customers are responsible for paying return courier charges.
Malik Optics does not provide free return shipping.
8. Exchange Policy
For exchange, the old frame must be returned first.
A new order will then be placed. Orders below Rs.2000 will be charged Rs.250 as delivery fee.
9. Original Invoice & Packaging
The following must be returned for approval:
- Original invoice
- Official Malik Optics stamp
- Original box and packaging
- Dummy or original lenses
Missing any item will result in rejection.
10. Courier & Fair Trade Notice
Courier services are third-party providers. Once the courier service has been used, its charges cannot be refunded under fair trade and Islamic principles.
11. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 working days after the returned product is received and inspected.
12. Final Decision Authority
Malik Optics reserves the right to approve or reject any return or refund request based on product condition and policy compliance.
